Too often we fight between the haves and have nots and the urban vs rural, we are all stronger together. We can work to commit to a higher quality of life and strive towards a higher level of community engagement. We also need to ensure that we have a shift to allow local citizens to have more input on the future of cities. I am passionate about North Carolina but moreover the pursuit of fair, open, and responsive local government.
