Inspired by the Obama Campaign for Presidency in 2008 I decided that I was going to make a difference in my community. We started the Young Democrats of Lenoir County and I was elected President. We performed voter registration drives, phone banked and knocked on doors to get out the vote. I've always sought out ways that I can better serve my community and I feel that I have a lot to contribute to the League.
